About the Opportunity

Edelweiss Life Insurance is hiring CA Industrial Trainees for its Financial Reporting team at the Mumbai head office. The role offers exposure to corporate finance, statutory reporting, audit support, regulatory reporting, financial closures, and cross-functional finance operations within the insurance industry.

Eligibility

• CA students eligible for Industrial Training
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting concepts
• Good analytical and attention-to-detail skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Mumbai-based candidates preferred

What You Will Work On

• Assisting in preparation and review of financial statements and schedules
• Supporting MIS preparation and management reporting activities
• Working on Ind AS, IGAAP, and IRDAI regulatory reporting processes
• Participating in monthly and quarterly financial closure activities
• Performing reconciliations and analytical reviews
• Supporting statutory audit documentation and coordination
• Working with finance systems, reporting tools, and Excel-based analysis
• Coordinating with teams across actuarial, taxation, compliance, investments, and business finance
