About the Job

HDFC Bank is inviting applications from motivated CA students for the role of CA Industrial Trainee within its Corporate Banking Group at the Gurgaon office. This industrial training program provides hands-on exposure to corporate finance operations, credit appraisal, and risk compliance for large-scale corporate clients.

Position

• Role: CA Industrial Trainee
• Team/Department: Corporate Banking Group
• Duration: 12 months (or as per ICAI guidelines)

Eligibility

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
• Basic practical knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Flexible, open, and passionate approach to learning

Responsibilities

• Credit Appraisal: Preparation of credit appraisals for new and existing corporate clients and analysis of financial statements
• Risk Management: Identifying and assessing risks using internal rating models (RAM ratings)
• Documentation & Compliance: Managing documentation and ensuring adherence to credit processes and regulatory frameworks (including accounting standards and tax laws)
• Market Analysis: Studying industry trends and market developments in financial products
• Relationship Management: Assisting with client interactions and relationship management activities
