About the Job
Kotak Mahindra Bank is hiring a CA Industrial Trainee for its Corporate Banking – SME Team based in Pune.
The selected candidate will work as an Associate Relationship Manager Trainee (Associate RM Trainee) during the internship period. This role offers hands-on exposure to SME banking operations, credit analysis, client relationship management, and business development.
Upon successful completion and strong performance, the trainee may be considered for a full-time Relationship Manager (RM) role in SME Banking.
Eligibility
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Understanding of banking products and SME financing
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with commitment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial tools
- CA student eligible for Industrial Training as per ICAI guidelines
- Completed at least 2 years of articleship
Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Assist in managing SME client portfolios and maintaining relationships
- Support onboarding of new clients and ensure smooth documentation and compliance
Credit Analysis & Risk Assessment:
- Analyse financial statements and assess creditworthiness of SME clients
Business Development:
- Identify potential SME clients and support RM in pitching banking solutions
- Contribute to achieving business targets through proactive engagement
Operational Support:
- Coordinate with internal teams for loan processing, documentation, and approvals
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance guidelines

12 months (as per ICAI industrial training norms)
