About the Job
Motorola Solutions is hiring a CA Industrial Trainee to join its Corporate Tax team. This role offers hands-on exposure to corporate and international taxation, including Indian and international tax laws, tax assessments, and litigation. The trainee will work closely with internal teams as well as external tax consultants and legal advisors on advisory, compliance, and reporting matters.
Eligibility
- CA Level 2 (Intermediate) completed as per ICAI regulations
- Strong interest in corporate and international taxation
- Basic understanding of the Indian Income-tax Act, 1961
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and review of corporate tax returns and filings
- Support interactions with tax consultants for advisory and compliance matters
- Evaluate tax implications of business decisions
- Conduct research on corporate income tax issues, tax treaties, exemptions, and compliance requirements
- Assist in preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation and coordination with consultants
- Support tax audits, assessments, and filings under Indian Income-tax laws
- Assist with tax accounting, tax provisioning, and coordination with internal finance teams
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and support internal and external coordination
