About the Job

Standard Chartered Bank is offering a 12-month CA Industrial Training Programme in Bengaluru. This programme provides hands-on experience in a global banking environment, allowing candidates to work on real business challenges, financial reporting, analytics, and automation.

Eligibility

• CA Intermediate (both groups cleared) and registered with ICAI
• Currently pursuing CA Final
• Available for a full-time 12-month industrial training
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Prior articleship experience in audit, accounting, or financial reporting preferred
• Experience with Power BI (dashboarding, basic DAX, data modelling)
• Advanced Excel skills (VBA, pivot tables, Power Query)
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or similar systems is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly reporting and management insights
• Build and enhance dashboards using Power BI
• Develop automation solutions using Excel VBA
• Support direct tax activities and reconciliations
• Assist with GST compliance, filings, and audit support
• Contribute to statutory audit processes
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities
• Document processes and support workflow improvements
