About the Job

Jana Small Finance Bank is inviting applications for the position of CA Industrial Trainee – Internal Audit (Central Functions) at its Head Office in Bengaluru.
As an Industrial Trainee in the Internal Audit team, you will gain practical exposure to banking audits and internal control frameworks while assisting in the following key activities:

• Execution of Audit Projects – Assist in conducting central function audit reviews across departments such as Finance, Credit, Risk Management, HR, etc.
• Risk Assessment and Checklist Review – Support in preparing and reviewing risk checklists, audit documentation, and testing of controls.
• Testing Activities – Participate in Tranche III and IFC (Internal Financial Control) Testing.
• Issue Monitoring – Assist in tracking audit observations, follow-up action plans, and closure of audit issues.
• Research & Updates – Stay informed on local, national, and global developments in audit and banking regulations.
• Reporting – Prepare audit findings, working papers, and presentations for review by Team Leads.

Eligibility

• Candidates pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) and eligible for Industrial Training as per ICAI guidelines.
• Prior experience in audit (Bank/NBFC preferred) will be an advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of audit and internal controls.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (mandatory).
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of data analytical tools (added advantage).
• Exposure to Big 4 or mid-size audit firms will be considered positively.
