About the Job
Option Town is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented fresher Chartered Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the company’s financial processes, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting business decisions through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

- Reports To: Head of Finance
Eligibility
- CA qualification (cleared all levels from ICAI)
- Articleship experience in a reputed CA firm or industry
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and audit procedures
- Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of Tally, SAP, or other ERP software is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
- Assist with audits (internal, statutory, and tax) and liaise with auditors.
- Prepare tax returns and support compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Work on financial models and MIS reports as required by the management.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.
