About the Job

EY is recruiting for the position of Core Audit Senior within the GDS Assurance Team in Kolkata. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on global assurance engagements, lead audit processes, and collaborate with EY’s international teams.

Candidates will be responsible for leading engagements from the GDS front, ensuring high-quality deliverables per EY GAM (Global Audit Methodology), and reviewing audit procedures performed by GDS staff. The position requires building and maintaining strong working relationships with EY’s global counterparts.

Eligibility

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) – Freshers or ACCA / CPA with 1+ year of experience.
• Candidates with 3–4 years post-qualification experience in external/assurance reviews from mid or top-tier firms, or large MNCs, are encouraged to apply.
• Semi-qualified professionals with 6+ years of relevant assurance experience may also apply.

Skills & Attributes for Success

• Expert knowledge of Indian Accounting and Assurance Standards; familiarity with IFRS / UK GAAP / US GAAP is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
• Ability to foster teamwork, a positive work culture, and live EY values.
