About the Job
Deloitte is hiring for an External Audit | Statutory Audit | Audit Assistant – Fixed Term Hire (FTH) in Kolkata. As a Fixed Term Hire, you will oversee daily audit operations for clients worldwide, working closely with onshore and offshore teams to deliver high-quality results. This role requires utilizing knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, UK GAAP, IFRS, audit methods, and tools to plan, execute, and report on engagements effectively.
Eligibility
Required Qualifications: A Graduation degree, i.e., BCom, is essential, and Inter CA is mandatory with articleship completed.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing principles, with prior experience in auditing and exposure to US clients or an understanding of US GAAP/GAAS/IFRS is preferred.

Work You’ll Do:
Plan and execute assigned tasks within the project scope and deadlines, identify and use best practices, and apply Deloitte Audit methods and tools. You will demonstrate professional conduct and ethical standards, completing tasks within project scope and deadlines with the team. Participation in training to enhance your knowledge of accounting, audit tools, auditing, and industry dynamics is encouraged. The role also demands maturity, poise, and confidence while proactively reporting availability and seeking new opportunities, ensuring work meets the firm’s quality standards and adheres to the international regulatory accounting framework.
