About the Job
Amazon is seeking an enthusiastic Indirect Tax Compliance Tax Intern to join its International Indirect Tax Compliance team. This role is specifically for an intern working under the CA Articleship program with at least one year of experience.
The position focuses on the preparation of various APAC ITX returns and related filings, along with assisting in providing data to tax authorities and other ITX compliance actions.
Basic Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree
– 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
– Business fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
– Intern working under CA Articleship program and have experience of 1 year.
– Able to take ownership of work, implement change, and demonstrate a problem-solving approach
– Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
– Collaborate team player who is comfortable with a fast paced and dynamic environment

Bangalore, Hyderabad
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include mainstream ITX compliance, supporting internal and external audits, liaising with ITX Compliance and Controllership teams, and participating in projects with ITX compliance impact. Key tasks involve preparing and submitting APAC ITX returns, assisting with ITX registrations, mapping ITX processes, reviewing month-end ITX account reconciliations, and supporting business growth. Candidates should be proactive, problem-solving, and collaborative team players.
