About the Job

KPMG is hiring Industrial Trainees for its Internal Audit / GRCS (Governance, Risk & Compliance Services) practice. The role offers exposure to process consulting, internal audit, and risk consulting engagements, with opportunities to work on complex projects and collaborate with diverse teams.

Eligibility

  • Experience or exposure in process consulting, internal audit, or risk consulting
  • Strong understanding of business processes and operational risks across sectors
  • Ability to perform and interpret process gap analysis
  • Knowledge of control rationalization, optimization, effectiveness, and efficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data analytics skills are an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (presentation skills)
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Willingness to travel extensively within India or abroad
  • Demonstrates integrity, values, and strong work ethic

Other Qualifications

  • Pursuing Chartered Accountancy
  • Undergoing articleship and eligible for Industrial Training

Responsibilities

  • Work as a project team member on process consulting, internal audit, and risk consulting engagements
  • Lead small teams of analysts/trainees on select assignments
  • Deliver high-quality client services and manage assigned project areas
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed
  • Demonstrate strong technical and professional knowledge; adapt to new learnings
  • Apply business acumen and stay updated on advisory capabilities and industry developments
  • Travel to client locations within India and abroad, as required
