About the Industrial Training Opportunity
Ares Management is hiring a CA Industrial Trainee to support its Accounting and Audit teams in Mumbai. This role offers hands-on exposure to accounting, audit, and financial reporting for privately and publicly held investment funds, making it an excellent opportunity for CA students interested in the financial services and investment management industry.
Eligibility
- CA Intermediate cleared (Both Groups)
- Availability for 12–18 months of Industrial Training
- Strong interest in the financial services industry
- Good academic track record with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Accounting and accurate financial reporting of privately and publicly held Ares funds
- Assistance with monthly time certification surveys for billable administration fee calculations
- Preparation of wire forms for capital calls and analysis of distribution notices
- Preparation and maintenance of trackers for various investment activities
- Support in monthly and quarterly close processes, including balance reconciliations and workpapers
- Assistance with quarterly valuations
- Management of daily cash activities, including invoice/payment processing, check deposits, and GL postings
- Preparation and review of monthly cash and position reconciliations
- Assistance in preparation and review of US GAAP financial statements for monthly reporting and quarterly/annual SEC filings
