About the Job
UBS is hiring a CA Intern for its Rates Flow Product Control (PC) team in Hyderabad. This role provides exposure to global markets finance, product control, accounting controls, and financial reporting within a fast-paced investment banking environment.
Eligibility
- CA Intern with strong finance and accounting knowledge
- Ideally 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, financial reporting, or reconciliation
- Good understanding of global markets product controls
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Analyzing financial results and profit & loss (P&L) statements
- Delivering accurate daily T1 P&L and analyzing variances between T0 and T1
- Implementing and maintaining robust accounting and financial controls
- Reconciling trade capture systems with the general ledger
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Compiling financial information for the Structured Financing Business
- Preparing financial statements and reports for internal management and external auditors
- Supporting governance activities and improving the quality and efficiency of financial controls
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts
- Ability to design and maintain cost and revenue control frameworks for global businesses
- Analytical, methodical approach with strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
