About the Job

Quest Global is hiring an Officer – Direct Tax for its Bengaluru office. This hybrid role offers an excellent opportunity for Semi-Qualified CAs, M.Com, MBA, or B.Com professionals to work on comprehensive direct tax compliance and audit functions in a multinational environment.

The role involves managing the full spectrum of direct taxation, from TDS to corporate tax audits, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and supporting accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage direct tax compliance processes, including Tax Audit procedures.
• Prepare and file Quarterly TDS Returns and calculate monthly TDS payments.
• Handle Income Tax Returns (ITR) preparation and filing for the company.
• Compute Quarterly Advance Tax, Current Tax, and Deferred Tax workings.
• Coordinate Corporate Tax Audits and liaise with auditors.
• Reconcile Form 26AS vs. TDS and manage Form 15CA/CB filings.
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax regulations and internal financial controls.

Eligibility

• Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter), M.Com, MBA (Finance), or B.Com graduate.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in direct taxation and tax audits.
• Sound understanding of TDS provisions, corporate tax laws, and Income Tax regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with tax filing tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
