About the Job
Deutsche Bank is inviting applications for the position of Intern (CA Industrial Trainee) at its Mumbai location. This 12-month Industrial Training role offers in-depth exposure to Product Control and Business Finance, working closely with front-office, finance, and control teams in a global banking environment.
Eligibility
Candidates must:
- Have passed both groups of CA Intermediate (IPCC)
- Have completed at least 1 year of articleship
- Be eligible for Industrial Training as per ICAI rules and regulations
- Possess strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Producing daily profit and loss (P&L) for business units / trading desks
- Ensuring transparency and validation of financial controls
- Obtaining front-office (traders) sign-off on reported P&L
- Resolving front-office / back-office cash breaks
- Participating in Change the Bank (CTB) initiatives
- Liaising with multiple support teams for issue resolution
- Collaborating with financial controllers and business relationship managers
- Supporting process improvements and system enhancements
Exposure & Skills Development
- Product Control and Front-to-Back (FTB) finance processes
- Pricing and valuation of fixed income products (bonds, interest rates, credit derivatives, futures, and options)
- Strong exposure to global finance operations and controls
- Stakeholder management across global teams
- Process improvement and innovation initiatives
Education & Skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and diligent approach
